CRYE PRECISION Airflex Combat Knee Pads

If you have bought the Helikon-tex SFU pants as if have, and were looking to use something more premium than the generic foam “trim to fit” types, I will save you a lot of time—yes, these pads fit. You will have to roll them up very, very tightly to slip them into the tiny velcro opening at the bottom, and will have to fuss around straightening them from both inside and outside the pants leg, but they will sit at the proper height and shape once they’re straightened.As for the Crye Airflex pads themselves—I absolutely see why many militaries switched to integrated internal pads from the external pads. Nice low profile cushioning without having 2 thick nylon straps digging into the back of my knees. I’m confident that I can drop my knees onto straight concrete with these on, it has cushioning in just the right places.
